Sophie has been coming to therapy for the past 8 years. She was a rescue dog that Nancy adopted from DFW pug rescue. Sophie warmly greets clients and gently encourages them to pet her.
She is excellent with those timid around animals or younger kids as she stands back and lets them pet her in their own time. Sophie is quite intuitive and knows when someone needs a little extra love. For many people seeing Sophie at the office calms them especially when it’s their first time coming to see us. Kids get a good laugh when they hear her snoring. She does welcome treats and belly rubs.
